From Interstate 91 Heading North
Leave 91 N at Exit 3(Trumbell Street). Move to the middle lane before the end of the ramp. Go straight at the light at the end of the ramp, across Orange Street. Take a right at the next light onto Whitney Avenue. Travel 2.4 miles north on Whitney Avenue. After you pass the reservoir on the right, watch for Swiss Dry Cleaners on the left. Take a left at that light onto Putnam Avenue. Take a left at the end of Putnam (you will see Webster Bank straight ahead), and move immediately into the right lane. take a right at the next light by the Merit gas station. Bear right onto Woodin Avenue. Take Woodin to the end (go straight across Pine Rock Avenue at the light). Take a right onto Wintergreen. The school will be a few blocks down on the right.
From Interstate 91 Heading South
Leave 91 S at Exit 10 (Hamden / Mt Carmel Connector). Proceed to the first exit off connector (State Street) and take a left at the bottom of the ramp. Go to traffic light and take a left onto Hartford Turnpike. Follow to the second traffic light and take a right onto Skiff St. Follow Skiff St. past Dixwell Avenue and take a left onto Mix Avenue. Continue on Mix Avenue until your reach a T intersection with Benham street, and take a right. Follow Benham to Lane Street (just after radio towers on the right and a school on the left) and take a left. Follow Lane street past a stop sign, to Wintergreen Avenue. Take a right and follow Wintergreen Avenue for 1.4 miles. It goes up a long hill and curves sharply to the left. After the curve, Wintergreen is on your left in less than a mile.
From the Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway (CT Route 15) heading North or South
Leave Rte 15 at Exit 60 (Hamden, Rte 10). Take a right at the end of the ramp onto Dixwell Avenue. travel down Dixwell to Benham street (shortly after a Dunkin' Donuts on your right). Follow Benham to Lane Street (just after radio towers on the right and a school on the left) and take a left. Follow Lane street past a stop sign, to Wintergreen Avenue. Take a right and follow Wintergreen Avenue for 1.4 miles. It goes up a long hill and curves sharply to the left. After the curve, Wintergreen is on your left in less than a mile.
From Southern Connecticut State University
Take Wintergreen Avenue north out of Southern Connecticut. State University. The road forks after a cemetery; stay on Wintergreen by taking the left fork. Go across a short bridge to a stop sigh. Take a right at the stop sign, and follow Wintergreen north past the Connecticut Job Corps Center to a stop sign. Take a left (staying on Wintergreen), towards West Rock Ridge State Park. Cross under the Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway. Wintergreen Avenue twists right, then left, then straightens out. After the road straightens, Wintergreen is about .3 miles ahead on your right.
