Philosophy

We are innovators in the creation of an educational environment based on differentiated instruction for all of our students grades kindergarten through eight. We supplement our regular classroom curriculum through the use of higher-level thinking activities to solve problems.

Activities include:

• General exploratory experiences which permit a child to clarify his/her own interests and abilities
• Group learning activities that develop courses and operations that enable students deal more efficiently with content
• Individual or small group investigations of real life problems

Examples:

• Forensic science unit
• Field trip to Tommy Hilfiger
• Field trip to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum
• Multicultural Cooking Unit

Our goal

To expand our students minds by providing a differentiated environment for students with varied abilities using instructional methods and materials designed to develop the thinking process.
